Ramona Johnson – RYT

I started teaching yoga in 2005.  I was always into fitness, especially running, but an injury brought me to yoga.  I am grateful for that injury, for it introduced me to something beyond exercise.  I was hooked after my first class.  I have had many teachers who have been trained by well-known yoga masters.  They have all had different styles and techniques, which broadened my knowledge of yoga. I am certified through the yoga alliance 200 hour teacher training program.

I am mainly trained in the power vinyasa flow.  I have also tried Bikram and Ashtanga.  I like all of them, but I am partial to the power vinyasa flow, which links the breath with movement.  I enjoy learning from my students and sharing what I learn and challenging my students to get them deeper in their practice, but also having fun while practicing.

Yoga is the only exercise where there is absolutely nothing in my head but the sound of my breath.  I am often amazed that every practice is different and there is always something new to learn and discover.  I am a yoga teacher, and a yoga student for life.
